Podcasting and other iPod peripherals

Podcasting is to radio what TiVo is to television: anytime, anywhere broadcasting. Through RSS feeds, people can find and link to desired MP3 files fro their iPod -- then they can listen to the captured material when they want and where they want. If you're in the car, you can use the digital FM broadcaster to use your car stereo system. Traditional radio is also putting up there programs as MP3's available on-line -- download and you can listen to it anytime anywhere.

AdAge claims (indirect link) that the iPod supports about 1000 periperals:

"Apple doesn't sell an MP3 player, they sell a lifestyle," said Andrew Green, VP-marketing and design at Griffin. "Buyers of iPods are buying into a club."
